Municipal Services

The municipality of the Village of Doaktown provides the following basic services to its taxpayers: police protection (through a contractual arrangement with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police), fire protection; a municipal water system, a municipal waste water (sewer) system, the issuance of development permits & land use planning (Greater Miramichi Service Commission) and roads and garbage collection. In addition, Council oversees such matters as , dog control, and emergency measures.
